I just wanted to show a few pictures of an event I just did at Shady Grove Church that reveals a bit about projector brightness on paper vs. real world variables like age, lumen rating standards between brands, size of surface, ambient light…
Center is a 4-lamp (all working), 10,000 (at least) lumens projector projecting onto a 26′ wide screen from 20′ away.
Side environmental projectors are 1-lamp, 3000 lumens projecting on a 54′ wide wall from 76′ away. I’ll let the pics speak for themselves. What do you notice?
