It’s been exactly one year since the launch of Visual Worshiper; a ministry/business that helps teach and show churches how to use lighting and projection tools to create an environment where visual worship can take place.

It’s been an amazing first year of connecting with churches from all over the world.  The most exciting thing has been watching God move, and being a part of what He’s doing.  I never would have imagined 12 months ago that the Church would have received this so well.  (I mean; we’re talking about bringing back what the Reformation took away…)  Notice I didn’t say “where I am today.”  None of this is me.  I actually don’t have a clue what I am doing.  He has given a gift, and I want to use it to further the Kingdom.

Over the next few weeks, I’m going to highlight all the churches (that I know of) that have implemented architectural projection.  But, I want to know about ALL the communities that have used architectural projection!  If you are part of a church that is using architectural projection, tell me about it!  Send me a pic or two.  I want to talk about as many churches (and organizations) as possible.

(…and just as a reminder; architectural projection is NOT a large center screen above your stage.  That’s called having a large center screen above your stage.)

Visual Worshiper is also officially expanding its services to offer a complete visual worship package:

Architectural Projection System Design

Live Lighting Design and Operation

Custom Content Creation

Live Video DJ

(More info coming soon on www.visualworshiper.com)

And what’s a post without a picture?  My family got this little piece of metal music for me; even had it engraved.  Very cool!  It’s a blessing to have support like them.

It is a TRUE honor and privilege to know you, even though we haven’t met face to face yet.
Hearing your story and reading this blog has been one of the most encouraging things to me this year…as I, too, as you know have a huge heart for visual worship and the Church.
I can’t wait for you to visit Nashville in a few weeks and check it out as a possible new base (hey, i’ll never shut up about this! haha)….i can’t wait to brainstorm and dream together and introduce you to some other guys passionate about this area as well.
Not to mention gi*inc needs more VJs and motion graphic artists to partner with!!!
this next year is going to blow your mind, Camron.
    Dream big…but chase God!

see you in a few weeks,
    proctor

    Congrats and happy birthday !

I’ve shown your projection techniques to pastor and the board and they got excited about it ! Now we just need a new full time worship leader to come in and then we can get started redoing our stage !

What if the video leaks off of the screen a bit and onto the architecture ? 8-) The closest thing we have is some colored back walls with gobo patterns to fill the space around the projector.

    Perhaps that’s static architectural projection ! 8-)

Keep up the good work my man ! I look forward to all your posts !
